The mid-year sales figures are in.  There were _ more sales than in the first half of 2017 and prices were a little higher, despite the fact that more of the smaller models were sold.  Inventory has stayed stable, but as always, good clean homes are increasing in price and selling well.

A look at the next few months:

2016 was an interesting year: a very good spring, a slower summer than anticipated, and then a very good end of the year.  Although interest rates have risen slightly, the buyers with whom we are presently working, seem to understand that they need to take advantage of the market and buy a home sooner, rather than later, before rates increase again.

 

Current listings:

As of January 1st, there were 2 homes on the market in Park Saint Claire, priced at $ 640,000 and $ 679,900, neither of which is a foreclosure or short sale. There is also 1 home presently under contract, but not yet closed.
